Rome Goes To The Byrds in May ‘68

Forty years ago one of America’s most successful chart acts, The Byrds, ‘went country’ with their ‘Sweetheart Of The Rodeo’ album. TRF goes back to 1968 when, as students rioted nearby, the band performed alongside Pink Floyd and others at the first (and last) Rome International European Pop Festival.
